Outpatient Department Operations Hub

The Outpatient Department (JPL) is the primary care gateway at Klinik Kesihatan Bandar Maharani. It serves as the central entry point for acute consultations, chronic disease follow-ups, health screenings & routing to OPD-linked services.

Acute Primary Care
Management of acute non-fever cases, walk-in consultations, and immediate medical attention
Chronic Care
Follow-up care for HTN, DM, dyslipidemia, and mental health with standardized protocols
Health Screenings
Cancer screening, PEKA B40, pre-employment check-ups, premarital and wellness assessments
Mental Health
Mental health screening, basic management, and GAD-7/PHQ-9 assessments
Procedures
Minor procedures, ECG, nebulization, wound dressing, and diagnostic support
Referrals & Reports
Internal referrals, specialist referrals, medical reports, and documentation services

Triage & Registration

Patient arrives at Triage Counter A for initial screening, then proceeds to Registration Counters 12–15 where a queue number is assigned.

Vital Signs & Screening

Vital signs are recorded at Counters 17-1 to 17-3 using the JKN Assessment & Procedure Template. Brief screenings such as BSSK, NHSI, or PEKA B40 are conducted when indicated.

Doctor Consultation

Consultation takes place in Rooms 1–6. The doctor uses condition-specific templates, performs clinical assessment, and documents findings in SystmOne.

Investigations & Procedures

If indicated, the doctor orders blood tests, X-ray (Room 7), ECG, or minor procedures (Room 8) via SystmOne and updates the patient checklist.

Treatment & Follow-up

Medications are prescribed through CCMS–PHIS integration. The patient proceeds to Counter 17A for appointment scheduling, then to the Pharmacy for dispensing before discharge.
