ECG Recording Integration

Following our transition to CCMS and the digitalization of our X-ray workflows, KK Maharani is taking the next practical step toward a fully digital clinic. We are now expanding this digital transition to our ECG recordings, moving away from thermal paper printouts to direct digital archiving.

1. Workflow Steps

Wi-Fi Enabled ECG Machines (Pre-requisites)

Two ECG machines in the clinic are equipped with Wi-Fi, allowing direct transfer of ECG traces over the local network.

Central ECG PC & Data Conversion

Traces are sent via local FTP server to a central ECG computer. ECG automatically saved into PDF format into the local (central) PC.

Profile Upload within SystmOne

PDF ECG records are manually uploaded and attached to each patient’s digital profile in the SystmOne system. Data saved and doctors can review the result in patient's SystmOne profile.

Completed
STATUS

Full ecosystem integration is a future goal. While digital ECG records are accessible in SystmOne, upload remains a semi-manual process requiring staff intervention.

2. Benefits

  • Paperless Access: Eliminates the need for printing physical ECG records.
  • Real-Time Review: Clinicians access ECG results instantly within patient files.
  • Improved Documentation: Secure, centralized digital recordkeeping.

3. Limitations & Future Integration

  • The upload process is not fully automated; manual staff upload is required.
  • Planned enhancements aim for direct, automated data integration to further streamline workflow and reduce error.
TIP

Digital ECG workflow aligns with clinic ambitions for enhanced patient safety, operational efficiency, and secure data management in CCMS.
